Information Systems Administrator

CEC is a leader in the heavy equipment industry, specializing in the fabrication of high quality rock crushing, screening, and conveyor systems for quarries and mining operations world wide.  We are in need of a skilled Information Systems Administrator to join our team.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Network Administrator

Installs, configures and maintains organization's computer network. Builds networks and maintains external and internal web presence, administers the networks. Performs system backups on its internal and external web network servers. Designs and supports server system(s) and supporting software.  Maintains network security and stability.

Database Administrator
Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database. Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.

Business Systems Analyst

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Maintains all licensing and product updates.

Client/Server Programmer
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including coding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's client/server software applications.

Help Desk Support

Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Tracks and monitors the problem to insure a timely resolution. Requires general knowledge of accounting practices and thorough understanding of Accounting Software, Microsoft Applications, and Reporting Packages.

Software Engineer
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Customizes existing software, reports, and processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in related area and/or 3-5 years of experience in the field

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in network administration

1–2 years web administration with ASP.NET, Crystal Reports, pivot tables

1–2 years experience with Solomon , Microsoft Dynamics SL

3–4 years experience SQL server administration

3-5 years Exchange administration experience.

BES administration experience preferred.

Experience with AutoCAD, MS Visio, MS Office Suite, all MS Operating Systems.

MCSE certified

Must be able to multi-task and work independently

Highly self motivated and directed

Time management and prioritizing skills

Must pass pre employment drug test
